Honey eucalyptus seeds were sowed on March 2, 2020, and they looked like this.
Germination rate is 1%
Only 1 seed out of 100 seeds germinated.
Seedling was extremely fragile.
It remained in our incubator for three more weeks as it was too small to set.
The roots characteristic was similar to common eucalyptus, a single thin strand where everything hangs on!
Sharper leaf shape became apparent from a 6 weeks old seedling.
The leaf’s texture of the honey eucalyptus is thin. No scent was present at this stage.
The full length of the seedling on May 12 was 20 cm, from topmost leaves to roots’ ends.
2 months old – Wonderful eucalyptus scent when leaves are rubbed.
Branching has begun.
On June 24, the length of the top side was 16 cm.
